Luc began his career as a lawyer with Lambert, Harvey & Lavigne. In 1994 Luc joined the 185-store retail chain San Francisco Boutiques/Les Ailes de la Mode Inc as Vice-President, Corporate Development. In this role, Luc was pivotal to the company’s corporate restructuring, including lease negotiations and business development. Luc then became Vice-President, General Manager of Bikini Village/Les Ailes de la Mode Group Inc. In this position, he oversaw the operations of 59 Bikini Village stores in Quebec and Ontario, as well as corporate restructuring and the implementation of new business plans. His vast experience in the retail industry led him to his move to Oberfeld Snowcap in 2006 where he worked with several aspirational and luxury brand retailers on their national real estate development plans. In 2015, Luc accepted the position of Vice-President National Leasing for Eastern Canada at The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited. Luc’s passion for representing retailers on their growth plans led him back to Oberfeld Snowcap in 2018 as Vice President, Client Services. Luc brings with him unique and invaluable experience as he has represented both landlords and tenants alike.An ICSC member for over 16 years, Mr. Lavigne has also made generous contributions to charity in his community over the years. He was founder and President of “Les Ailes de la Mode Foundation” whose innovative “Dream Home” project has raised over six million dollars for charitable organizations. Mr Lavigne’s human touch is as precious as the solid industry experience he brings to Oberfeld Snowcap.
