Solution Architect for IoT network for Xperanti and Sigfox Networks. Work with multiple customers to provide the best IoT solution based on their requirements. Compiling customers requirements, deciding on the best solution with the correct end nodes, network topology and projecting the KPI data.

I am required to support the Sales Team by providing all technical information and clarifications to customer’s questions, RFP responses and provide an accurate technical evaluation on the proposal. Part of my scope also includes offering more platforms and features which will benefit the customer. Apart from this, I am also the Solution Architect for proposed projects, this includes providing an efficient and optimal architecture for the price range without compromising performance and budget.

I was required to lead the team in APAC region and ensure all issues reported by customers are handled and investigated well without exceeding the agreed SLA. While in this position, I trained all engineers to follow an in-depth investigation technique which allowed them to conclude the root cause much quicker. Part of my responsibilities included knowledge sharing and providing weekly reports to upper management team for their review.

As an Engineer my role was to investigate and identify problems reported by customers regarding the platforms supported. I had to, on some occasions, come up with creative methods to temporarily resolve the problem while communicating with our development team for a permanent solution. Apart from this, I was also a deployment engineer and involved in many projects including the Greenfield project in Ooredoo Myanmar, Telekomcel in East Timor, Celcom Malaysia, H3I in Indonesia and multiple more. During the deployment I was alsogiven the opportunity as team lead, assistant project manager and onsite project manager.

As an R&D engineer my role was to research on new wireless technologies and propose new products for Panasonic which can be used 5 years in advance. This also included providing a Proof of Concept hardware and software platform for management to assess the marketability. Another part of my role was to come up with different patent ideas which would increase Panasonics knowledge base.

As a junior engineer my role was to research and propose ideas for products which would be profitable for the organisation and its charitable causes. This also included developing the software and hardware as a Proof of Concept. One of the major achievements was the Wireless ECG project which was proposed to be used in Hospitals supported by the organisation.
