Science is the foundation of my work. I pursue the exploration of knowledge to become a scientific specialist and researcher.And I did this for over a decade.I got my Master's degree and my PhD. I trained to be a researcher, working in four different laboratories in three prestigious universities around the world. I published more than 10 papers, gave lectures and had a prestigious post-doctoral fellowship.After so many years in academia, I struggled with the idea of following this career path. Science is my background, but I didn't want to be a researcher for the rest of my life. There was more I could do with my knowledge.And then I started writing. At first, I just wanted to share my stories, my knowledge and my experiences with others.I continue to write.I started creating content on social media, collaborating on blog posts about science and developing a new solution using writing to communicate science.It was the beginning of my career transition into science communication.I created tools and methodologies that put science, writing, curation and communication side by side. My work supports medical professionals, empowers patients and makes a valuable contribution to the scientific and medical community by bridging the gap between complex scientific concepts and easy-to-understand communication.In 2023, I published my first book about vaccines: “The Little Defender Soldier and Vaccines”.
