Elected as Year 1 Academic Representative for an undergraduate medicine course, I am a proactive communicator and advocate for my peers. Skilled in representing their interests, I lead and manage initiatives, while ensuring effective time management and organization. My dedication to fostering a supportive academic environment allows me to excel in this position, actively engaging with faculty, students, and administrators. Through strategic collaboration and strong leadership, I strive to enhance the learning experience for all students and facilitate effective communication channels within the program.

The Scientific Enquiry and Scholarship Prize is a prestigious academic award presented at Melbourne High School's Annual Speech Night, in memory of Norton Hobson. This achievement was presented to me as a form of recognition of my work within Melbourne High School, advocating for STEM through clubs, as well as acting as a representative for parliamentary guest speakers, namely Dr Tien Kieu MP, Member for the South Eastern Metropolitan Region. I am honored to be a recipient of this award, and it has acted as a motivator for me to advocate further for STEM subjects within tertiary education.

As an avid Astronomer, I took my passion to the next level and founded the Melbourne High School Astronomy Club.The President is primarily responsible for overseeing the club's actions, events and initiatives, being the main point of contact with teacher liaisons and event committees. The responsibilities of a President are fixed, varied and always changing. They include, but are not limited to:- Being aware and well-informed of club activities, events and actions.- Ensuring events are well prepared and run smoothly, with ability to manage an impromptu situation.- Facilitating opinion, change and feedback, being prepared to alter working system and planner to cater for all group members.

This scholarship is in memory of John Beaton, who embodied personal and intellectual qualities which Melbourne High School aspires to instill in all its students. The prize seeks to encourage the development of both scientific and artistic skills. Lasting for Year 11 and Year 12, the scholarship has provided me with the motivation and funds to pursue a quality education at Melbourne High School.

The George Camkaris Library Resources Scholarship is a book boucher, awarded to three Year 9 students for a satisfactory academic performance and overall involvement in the school program. Valued at $300, this imbursement recognises and encourages Junior School students to pursue in school life, both academically and in their co-curricular programme.

Working in a team of four debaters, I undertook regular mentorship through an experienced Old Boy and coach from the Debator's Assosciation of Victoria. Wimmin 9 successive rounds of debating, I learnt to collaborate with a quartet on local and global issues, coming out as the final champions of the competition.

The Western Chances Scholarship is a financial bursary provided to students who live in Western Melbourne and demonstrate a high potential. In Year 9, I was fortunate enough to be a recipient for categories of music, debating and academics. The scholarship has acted as a massive financial aid for me to access a greater and more holistic education. The donors were so generous that I was able to renew the scholarship through 2020, 2021 and also in 2022.

My experience with the WSCACU was extremely rewarding, as I was exposed to a new side of the army through cadets. Working throughout the year to be promoted from the position of recruit to cadet, I had to learn basic first aid, communication through radio, navigation using analog compasses and many other essential skills. Attending regular bivouacs and the annual camp at Puckapunyal Military Area, this year with the unit also enforced the importance of chain of command, as well as teamwork skills.
