About Lee-Anne Walker
I've called the Elk Valley region home since 1983. Married to Gary Walker since 1986, we've raised our family here, with our daughter Chalice born at the Fernie Hospital in 1993. Gary is retired from the District of Sparwood as the Community Services Director 1978-2011. The outdoors is where I am happiest enjoying all forms of skiing, mountain biking, water sports on the Elk River, and I am an avid naturalist. Knowing nature has motivated my passion to keep it worth knowing. I care about my neighbours and share their values for a rural lifestyle. I've tried to walk the talk by giving back to my community as a volunteer in many capacities from library boards, community cleanups, industry task forces and sustainability planning.
