Assisting small businesses to obtain financial and technical assistance for expansion, relocation and commercial revitalization through a series of technical and professional seminars, trainings, business plan preparation, workshops, community outreach activities and business need assessment meetings. Serve as the first line of contact with small businesses in educating them on County procurement processes to include providing direction and assistance in resolving prompt payment issues and other contract issues; assist small businesses in creating contracting opportunities within the County and other public and private agencies, and assist small businesses in staying a viable thriving business within Miami-Dade County in general. Additionally, develop and maintain an extensive program of public information; provide one-on-one contact and meetings with the small business as their liaison to county processes and departments in order to ensure their success in the programs administered by Small Business Development
