My journey in the NHS began as a Receptionist. From the very start, I was determined to excel in all aspects of my work, constantly seeking opportunities to grow and take on new challenges. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working closely with the Director of Corporate Affairs, contributing to various projects. Notably, I played a pivotal role in the implementation and roll-out of a bespoke Declaration of Interest system, ensuring transparency and compliance. Additionally, I had the opportunity to support with the completion of the annual report for the Trust and even stepped up to present reports at Board Sub-Committee level, showcasing my ability to effectively communicate complex information. As the years progressed, I developed and refined my skills in Executive diary management, report writing, minuting, and database management. Supporting my colleagues and ensuring the seamless functioning of the department has always been a top priority for me.When I'm not immersed in the world of the NHS, I lead an active lifestyle that revolves around my passion for roller-skating. I find joy in all aspects of this activity, from supporting and hosting large skating events to being a key contact for a dedicated community platform, connecting fellow enthusiasts and fostering a vibrant skating community. Roller-skating isn't just a hobby for me, it's a way to find balance and a wider understanding of those around me. It provides a refreshing contrast to my professional life, allowing me to recharge and approach challenges with renewed vigour, as well as gaining a valuable insight into community engagement, event coordination, and effective communication.
