About Laura Hope Whitaker

As the CEO of ESP, Inc., a non-profit serving individuals with disabilities, I lead a passionate team that is scaling to be the next chaptered non-profit providing a community for people of all abilities. I co-founded Java Joy, a social enterprise that empowers adults with disabilities to spread joy through coffee, and I am an Ability Ambassador, a public speaker, a writer, and a hope dealer who advocates for neurodiversity and inclusion in the workplace and society.I took over ESP, Inc. at the age of 19 after the founder's tragic passing and grew it from a $140,000 to a $5.5 million organization that serves over 1,200 families annually. I have over 19 years of experience in non-profit leadership, workshop facilitation, social networking, and strategic partnerships. I am driven by my mission to help people discover and exchange their abilities for the better, and I love to inspire and educate others by sharing my story and insights.
