True North Imaging is one of the largest leading diagnostic imaging facility in Ontario. I am working as an architect and senior Java developer to provide full application solutions to the company. The following are the applications I have designed and implemented so far.MediExpress RIS: It is the core platform of the organization which covers every daily business operation. It serves over 20 clinics distributed in GTA and Kitchener area.RIS-MCEDT:It is the plugin of RIS billing module. It enables the RIS to handle the OHIP claims with the ministry of health of Ontario through MCEDT interface. It uses web service over SSL and all the messages are signed and encrypted in accord to the WSSE spec.RIS-HDIRS Interface: It is a DICOM and HL7 middleware that connects MediExpress to HDIRS (Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Repository Services). It enables TNI to share and exchange patient studies with other hospitals.RIS-Doctor Portal:It is a web site that allows referring doctors to check their patients’ reports and images online.RIS-Report Delivery:It is a plugin of RIS report module that automatically delivers patients’ reports through fax or right into doctors’ EMR system.RIS-PACS integration:It is a HL7 middleware that integrates MediExpress with external PACS system.PACS Suite:TNI switched the underlying infrastructure from Windows to Linux, but our PACS vendor did not have Linux version desktop tools. I, therefore, implemented the Linux alternatives.
