Support managed and special assets units by providing legal and strategic advice and support for the management and resolution of problem commercial loans and other high-risk single-bank, participated and syndicated credit relationships involving a wide variety of industries across the country. Assist in evaluating loan documentation, collateral, and financial information in providing a wide range of legal advice and counsel, including the development of collection and risk management strategies, ranging from restructuring/workout, receivership, foreclosure, and bankruptcy to asset sale or liquidation. Industries include agricultural, manufacturing, real estate, and small business.Actively manage litigation involving special and managed assets loans, retain and closely supervise outside counsel, manage budget and work product, and provide direction and strategic guidance in order to achieve maximum recovery, reduce costs and exposure, and otherwise protect the Bank's interests. Also provide legal guidance and support for units handling commercial REO and loan sale transactions.
