Threat Manager
Current➤ Overseeing and managing threat assessments, security management, and risk mitigation.➤ Coordinating with all Field Security Service Information Security Officers across divisions.➤ Assessing IT technologies, workflows, and regulatory compliance issues that impact ability to render services.➤ Researching and recommending operating methods and technologies to further the goal of protecting data and assets.➤ Maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring confidentiality and data integrity while protecting against breaches.➤ Preparing Enterprise Risk Analyses to govern the operation of hardware, software, and other technology equipment.➤ Drafting, executing, and testing facility contingency, emergency, and continuity of business operations plans.➤ Developing Risk Assessment and System Security Plan documents to certify/accredit infrastructure and systems.➤ Writing and updating policies governing the day-to-day operations in partnership with IT staff across the enterprise.➤ Delivering presentations on emerging technologies and regulatory compliance issues for management and leadership.➤ Developing and teaching New Employee Orientation and Information Security classes to facility departments biweekly.➤ Evaluating all facility workspaces for information security vulnerabilities on a semi-annual basis and addressing needs.➤ Ensuring all locally identified vulnerabilities and risks have appropriate plans of action within 30 days from discovery.➤ Reviewing documentation and incident reports to actively remediate issues and appropriately escalating as needed.➤ Providing security awareness information to facility staff 4 times per year and reviewing open Plan of Action items.➤ Partnering and collaborating with specialists and subject matter experts along with the Metropolitan Police Department.
