In addition to driving a daily route, I train new school bus drivers, perform annual Defensive Driving Performance Reviews and biennial Behind the Wheel Road Tests, teach workshops, and refreshers as required.

I was host of a daily classical music shift, selecting all of the music. In addition I produced a weekly two hour program of American Music for six years, a weekly hour of classic jazz for fifteen years, as well as programs in opera and choral music. I interviewed artists, recorded concerts for broadcast and wrote liner notes for the Biograph Record label. We wrote and recorded promos for each weekly show, operated our own board and recording equipment,ranging from reel to reel to digital and did extensive on air fund-raising for our public television station as well as public radio.

I helped to supervise a student run college radio station in the Boston metro market whose coverage area included much of eastern Massachusetts. I taught classes in Basic Radio and Creative Radio. I helped organize and produce our annual live music weekends, which presented non-stop live music on the air from four o'clock Friday until midnight Sunday with equipment and food donated by local venders.
