I currently have over 30 years’ experience in quality control and non-destructive testing. My duties have included performing inspections in all shop areas including machinery repair, metal layout & cut-form, structural fabrication & erection, pressure testing, piping inspection for Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical, receiving inspection, media blast, paint, radiography, calibration, hardness testing, welder testing, and weld tracking. I routinely perform code inspections per ASME Section VIII, IX, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, and ASME BPE. My daily duties also include timekeeping, formatting Excel spreadsheets, creating memos and forms using Word, email, project and staff meetings, scheduling radiography, developing project specific Quality plans and ITP’s, review and collection of project data/documentation for Turn Over to clients.
