Recruitment: I conducted nationwide searches for a variety of professional, technical and managerial positions. I worked with managers to ascertain their staffing needs, initiated searches, conducted interviews and reviewed qualifications of candidates. I conducted reference checks and made recommendations and decisions on selection of candidates.Compensation: I conducted salary surveys, revised position descriptions and classified new positions to the appropriate salary level. I also advised managers on matters related to equity and current trends. Employee Relations: I advised and counseled managers and employees on various issues, including policies, employee supervision, and performance management, just to name a few. I worked with managers on how to motivate their employees, and counseled employees on potential grievance issues. I conducted harassment investigations, provided direction on performance appraisal issues, conducted exit interviews and provided guidance and advice on personnel policy.Benefits: I managed a nationwide employee benefit program. I prepared employee communications, negotiated rates with carriers, oversaw the open enrollment process and advocated enrollment and claims issues on behalf of our employees.
