In this role, I support multiple design efforts through both design and technical writing. I have focused my efforts on both basis of design report and proposal writing as well as improving my designing skills within AutoCAD Civil 3D. I also assist others as a reviewer, providing comments and other feedback on submittals, specifications, and drawings.

In this role, I have designed temporary water pipeline and booster pump stations. With this station, water was diverted from the final tertiary effluent to a temporary area during construction. I also reviewed pipe alignment and BOM submissions related to the construction phase and reviewed on-site emergency changes while on the project site. For project additions post-construction, I am the main point of contact for reaching out to vendors for options.

In this role, I have compiled reports on aboveground storage tanks. This includes conducting on-site reviews, worst-case scenario determination for contamination spread, and completing off-site consequence analyses. I have also created boring logs and determined new well locations, utilizing given data from regulatory authorities. Using these wells, soil vapor samples have been taken to determine further mitigation methods. Engineering analysis was used to determine the state of existing wells and where new monitoring wells should be placed.I conducted surveys of land and compared the findings to existing as-builts prior to design work. This survey data was used to determine how infrastructure could be modified, if necessary, to complete work.Water quality testing and analysis were also a part of this job application. The tested water would be analyzed on site and in the lab to determine whether it met state and local requirements. Owners were notified if contaminants exceeded state or local levels.

I have led design in both gas transmission and distribution work. These jobs must follow guidelines set by the CPUC. In the hydrotest and replacements program, I have designed transmission pipe leading to district regulators and substations. I am also responsible for performing historical research to develop accurate and efficient designs.I worked with Microsoft Excel to put together Station Features Lists, detailing all pipeline features within a station. This includes the size of pipe, its yield strength, and the amount of gas flowing through a specific feature. To retrieve this information, documents including as-builts, mill test reports, and strength test pressure reports were referenced.In the mobile home park program, I designed gas distributions for feeding entire mobile home parks. I was responsible for surveying the parks, placing meters per my best judgement and CPUC guidelines, and interacting with PG&E clients on a regular basis. I managed fifteen separate projects through all design phases for both electric and gas distribution.

I led classes in ProjectWise, a new document storage system for PG&E. I implemented changes to the system as more feedback was received. Now, all PG&E gas transmission employees are expected to be able to navigate the system and be able to find and edit the documents they need.I also wrote up tap lists for Asset Knowledge Management and for pipeline that would be worked on by the In Line Inspection team. The lists detailed customers tapped off of gas transmission lines so the team would know where to inject compressed natural gas or liquid natural gas into the system.

I assisted professors in any matter the saw fit. Graded papers and wrote answer keys for classes such as Air Quality Engineering, Air Pollution Control, Air Quality Measurements, WaterResources Engineering, Thermodynamics, and Water and Wastewater TreatmentDesign. Was also responsible for keeping track of grades for six separate classes.

I worked with the Supervisory Control and Data Analysis (SCADA) system there and improved training for future operators of the plants in the area. I also helped with maintaining up to date software on SCADA machines in order to increase monitoring capabilities at all plants.

I wrote technical documents pertaining to processes for an internet-based startup company. I also made recommendations to management for improvements in work-flow efficiency and refined workflow processes in multiple areas including website content production, documentation, and online marketing procedures.

I trained new technicians to work on machines throughout campus. I also give classes to teachers regarding Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and other useful software for the school.
