Assign workload of all NDE technicians assigned to my project, ensuring a consistent, high quality product. Collect all reports and compile data in spreadsheet format for client. Ensure all data collected is backed up and stored properly. Perform on-the-job training for technicians whenever needed; ensure technicians have proper equipment and training for the work being asked of them.

Assess transcontinental natural gas pipeline for its structural integrity using various NDT methods including Longitudinal, Shear Wave, and Phased Array ultrasonic techniques, Magnetic Partical Testing, Creaform Handy scanner for 3D imaging, pit gauging, and dent profiling. Other data acquired includes soil resistivity, external corrosion depths using a digital pit gauge, distances from known datum locations, photographic references, soil and pipe PH levels, pipe slope, coating and deposit assessments, and pipe depth.Other roles within the company include preparing and instructing Level I, II, Phased Array UT, and MT courses when needed.

Perform Quality Control inspection in support of a double shelled API 620 Liquid Natural Gas tank construction project. Methods of inspection included Phased Array, Shear Wave, and Longitudinal ultrasonic testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Vacuum Box Leak Testing, and Visual Inspection of welds. Phased Array was utilized in lieu of Radiography. Data acquisition performed using the Olympus OmniScan MX2 with either a hand scanner or automated crawler using multi-probe configurations, and analysis using the OmniPC software.

Performed ultrasonic thickness readings and corrosion scanning at Guided Wave Testing locations. Handled, prepared, maintained, and installed high value Guided Ultrasonics Limited (GUL) equipment in aid of GUL testing. Obtained training in Level I and Level II Ultrasonic inspection and Level II Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) Testing. Involved extensive air and road travel, which required logistical planning for ticketing, lodging, and route planning.
