The Therapy Orientation Tool was developed for the Children's Specialized Hospital system in order to simplify and streamline the on-boarding process for newly hired therapists of all disciplines. The TOT is a Microsoft Sharepoint document linked to individual excel files associated with the clinical objectives and expectations for new therapists. I was educated in the utilization of the TOT and was tasked with auditing the system. This included studying the underlying objectives, archiving the subsections, and repairing all file paths. I worked with other therapy leads and administrators in order to modify and test the efficiency of the therapy orientation tool with respect to all disciplines.Upon the completion of the audit:-The TOT was now accessible to all newly employed therapists-All files were accounted for and archived in a separate publicly accessible database-All departments tested their respective parts of the TOT to test for maximum efficiency-Confirmation time between new hires and their respective supervisors had become instantaneous
