After taking early retirement from the family owned graphic arts businesses in 2000 (founded by my father in 1946 and now run by the third generation), I have returned on an as-needed basis to assist with major accounts. My expertise is in recognition and promotion of non-profits but also enjoy helping boost the images and bottom lines of dynamic for-profits.Recent major clients assisted are DePauw, Trinity Church, Putnam Co CVB, and Jackson Hewitt

After 43 years the Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame moved from DePauw University to Indiana University on July 1st, 2009. We are based at The Media School in Franklin Hall just inside the Sample Gates and celebrated our 54th annual induction in May 2019 in Indianapolis.

The Brown County Historical Society founded in 1957 had secured five parcels of land on Gould Street in downtown Nashville to build a new History Center to celebrate past and present life in Brown County. As a consultant, I worked for 18 months to help them build visibility and connections to the Society proposed project and made a lot of friends for the organization and for myself....a most interesting place with lots of potential when the community realizes the power in aligning their considerable resources!

Institutional Advancement for statewide council. Fundraising, coordinated regional conferences, board retreats, and assisted with planning of state-wide annual conferences. Promoted organization at conferences, and organized monthly special events to build profile of organization.

Previously Membership Director and Director of Development (Membership, marketing, communications, fundraising, and member services) for Columbia Club (2001-2002. From 2002-2005 became Executive Director of Columbia Club Foundation in charge of Capital Campaign, Annual Fund, Endowment, Special projects and major events. Managed Archives and gave historical tours to civic groups. Returned as Interim Executive Director 10/07-9/08After leaving to join IHC, served on CCF Board of Trustees from 2006-2008

Conceived, developed, managed design & build, and oversaw start-up and management of Walden Inn at DePauw/ Greencastle (IN). Consulted with other university communities on up-grading hospitality options

Co-founded company with father in 1968 and created reproductions on photo-sensitized materials for commercial signage, awards and recognition products, and jewelry items distributed nationwide. (Brand names: Photo Charms, Taylor Graphic Products, Classic Impressions, & Ploshay & Taylor) Also, commercial printing and advertising specialty companies. Transferred to third generation in 2000 where it continues to operate as Taylor-Made Enterprises in Greencastle, Indiana
