Originally from just outside of Boston, Larry started his career in the United States Air Force, where he was selected for early promotion for his efforts in establishing a training program for airmen transitioning from technical school to the security forces squadron they were being assigned to. He is a Desert Storm veteran. Larry continues to support all branches of the U.S. Military by providing free training courses and certifications. Larry founded Crisis Solutionist, Inc. in May 2018 after honorably retiring from the Massachusetts State Police. The Massachusetts Operation Services Division, Supplier Diversity Office has designated Crisis Solutionist, Inc. a Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE). Larry is an internationally Board-Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with over 28 years of progressive experience in law enforcement, security, training, investigations, threat assessment management, and risk management. He has a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Western New England University. He also holds certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigator, a Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) investigator, and is a pre-approved Sexual Misconduct Investigator for the United Educators ProResponse Expert Services Benefit. Larry has completed the FBI sponsored Internal Affairs Investigator course, DEA Money Laundering Symposium, DEA Undercover School, and dozens of professionally relevant courses. Larry is scheduled to complete the Certified Risk Management Professional exam in January 2021.Larry is a professional speaker and has had the honor of being a keynote speakerat the Massachusetts Bankers Association, he has presented at multiple Association of Certified Fraud Examiners events, the most recent being the 2020 Global Fraud Conference.He has authored several articles on fraud and security related matters. His article on the “Victimization of the Massachusetts State Police” was published in Fraud Magazine. “Soft Target Vulnerabilities in the New Normal” is set for publication in October 2020.
