During my 42 years of practicing law, primarily as a Family Law lawyer, though to keep my sanity, I also had a Wills and Administration of Estates practice, I made it a priority to introduce innovative applications that would substantially improve how I serviced clients. Some applications included Client Manuals for each area of law I practiced; an extra monitor on my desk for the clients; a superior (award-winning) website with practical informational articles, videos, checklists, and questionnaires. After ten years of practice, I started passing on my ideas by speaking numerous times at local, provincial, and national legal conferences. Soon into my retirement, I wrote a book published by the American Bar Association about improving client services by using innovative legal service applications. The book contains numerous applications and theories to create and evaluate the applications I developed during practice and by researching after I retired.Through LinkedIn, I want to continue to educate lawyers on why they should improve their service to clients and how they should do it. In addition to ideas in my book, I will continue researching, writing, and sharing new ideas with lawyers.
