Responsible for the maintenance, repair, replacement, modification and processing of Thermal Protection System components and sub-components. Bonding of TPS components using RTV and Ceramic adhesives. Verifying, throughout the process, items are installed within prescribed step and gap requirements to ensure laminar airflow during atmospheric re-entry. Close tolerances and precise measurements are critical due to the lack of redundancy of the TPS.Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, work authorizing documents and manufacturing instructions.

Ground Operations and Assembly of International Space Station Integrated Truss Segments.Assigned to Boeing by United Space Alliance.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with work area rules. Maintain active surveillance on controlled areas located on KSC, while completing appropriate logs, to ensure vehicle integrity.Monitor oxygen meter readings; establish man load limits based upon egress work platforms configurations. While on station, ensure the safety and well being of all personnel working in the orbiter.
