Ensure policy information is disseminated appropriately across all AES areas. Developed and implemented senior-level work plans and timelines. Developed and maintained issues escalation and resolution processes to support ongoing policy projects. Advised the AES Senior Leadership Team of potential issues and worked collaboratively to identify solutions. Worked with Access & Eligibility Services Senior Leadership Team members and Community Support staff to identify and resolve risks and issues. Identified performance metrics and provided key information related to PBIU performance to division leadership to support sound decision making and to ensure strategic utilization of division resources. Identified potential fraudulent or erroneous cases utilizing knowledge of Tiers, Agency Policy, Lexis Nexis, Accurint, CLEAR, and other related fraud detection systems. Provided leads and relevant information and findings to the case analysis staff. Researched all relevant issues and potential case clues and referred them to the appropriate staff, PBIU Director, and Agency partners externally and internally. Conduct in-depth investigations of suspicious financial activity. Design, implement and maintain fraud detection tools and procedures. Participate in and lead investigative teams. Review reports of suspected fraud to determine the need for further investigation. Train others in fraud detection and prevention techniques. Maintain knowledge of current events and trends in such areas as money laundering and criminal tools and techniques. Recommended actions in fraud cases. Negotiate with responsible parties to arrange for recovery of losses due to fraud. Conduct field surveillance to gather case-related information. Research or evaluate new technologies for use in fraud detection systems.

Interview clients individually, in families, or in groups, assessing their situations, capabilities, and problems, to determine what services are required to meet their needs. Refer clients to community resources for services such as job placement, debt counseling, legal aid, housing, medical treatment, or financial assistance, and provide concrete information, such as where to go and how to apply. Supervise social workers. Develop and review service plans in consultation with clients, and perform follow-ups assessing the quantity and quality of services provided.
