Responsible for the daily management of accounts provisioning, modification, and maintenance processes of MHS GENESIS. Manage the scheduling of instructor-led training (ILT), assign required Computer Based Trainings (CBT), and manage the local MTF Health Informatics (HI) training staff in conjunction with the local government POC. Also assist in the organization, planning, and implementation of training events targeted at enhancing end user understanding and functionality of MHS GENESIS.

Lead and deliver EHR training using the following methods:Individual trainingGroup instruction including clinic huddles, Informatic Steering Committee (ISC) meetings, and Peer Expert meetingsTargeted over-the-shoulder supportVirtual training support, as needed.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse medical community.Provide training and workflow adoption support to end users in accordance with position-specific clinical and business workflows.Provide formal and informal training and implementation guidance, integration, and change management support to functional users (medical and dental) requiring assistance in implementing, using, and integrating EHR.Collaborate with site informatics team (i.e., CMIO, CNIO, SI, TRM, Hybrid), Government Site Lead, and Project Management team to identify site-specific training opportunities and objectives and provide training support to address identified opportunities/objectivesUtilize continuous quality improvement principles to evaluate and provide feedback on existing MHSGENESIS application training programs and materials.Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs. Use relevant evaluation data to revise and/or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.Coordinate and perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training and workflow level coaching programs.Master EHR application and organizational workflows.Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology.Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training gaps, materials, plans, and instructional aidsAttend and/or conduct required meetings, conference calls and briefings as directed by the Government

The MHS Genesis Tier 2 Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for ensuring that the MHS Genesis support staff are prepared to support and resolve any supported MHS Genesis technical issues or requests, to include proprietary and vendor supplied software and hardwareThe Tier 2 SME is a key source of technical knowledge, expertise and tool usageThe Tier 2 SME works closely with the Application Support Supervisors and Director of Service Operation to ensure that support expectations are met or exceededPrimary second level support of all inbound incidentsBackup first level support as neededProvide accurate, timely, and professional follow-up and resolution on all supported issuesAccurately triage/assign/escalate tickets per departmental proceduresServe as a Technical SME for MHS Genesis procedure and support knowledgeRaise awareness of Priority issues as they occur; ensure that process is followed exactlyPerform regular checks of assigned ticket queues, triage or assign per process standardPerform side-by-side coaching with Analysts on difficult calls as necessaryConduct training sessions as necessary under direction of managementIdentify trends in training, performance and knowledge deficiencies and escalate risks and issues to managementMonitor and provide feedback on Service Desk technical proficiencyParticipate in Incident auditing activitiesWork special projects as required
