The role includes deploying out on exercise leading Two Crew men, providing communications including setting up masts, establishing links in a network and monitoring whilst conducting regular general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle.• In February I deployed on Exercise to Jordan for 9 weeks to build a Head Quarters and provide communications for 30 plus high ranking Military officers. I was also there to work on a service desk advising and helping with any problems with software and hardware. I deployed with two Crew Men, who I lead and managed in day to day duties providing direction and support.• In October I deployed on Exercise with an inexperienced commander to guide, support and show how to complete a full set up of communications within the vehicle. I had already completed the course for the new equipment, so I was a great help to team with training the rest of the Squadron as well as improving my knowledge.• Fire extinguisher maintainer- I was put on this course so I could help the Senior Fire officer in the maintenance of fire extinguisher in the workplace and also in our accommodation.
