Charles Young Foundation. As a father of two lovely daughters, I enjoy photography, scuba diving, cooking, golf, and cycling.

Levitt and Sons (“LAS”) was one of the 50 largest residential home builders in the United States with operations located in the Southeast. LAS was the nation’s first builder of planned suburban communities and is best known for creating New York's Levittown in Long Island. Founded in 1942, that company built approximately 200,000 homes. Activities consist of negotiations with five secured lenders in multiple states, preparing and leading the 37 debtors in Chapter 11 proceedings, and the development of both and operational and financial restructuring.

Ceo And CfoAt&T Latin America 2002 - 2005AT&TLA was the product of AT&T’s acquisition and development of three telecommunications companies operating in five countries located throughout South America. Prior to the retention of AlixPartners, the Company reported that it had identified a $100 million funding shortfall. As the new Chief Executive Officer for AT&T Latin America, a public company with over $1 billion in assets, I immediately implemented an enterprise-wide restructuring reducing costs by over 40% which included material modifications to key financial and operating roles, responsibilities, and controls at each of the five subsidiaries. After the implementation of the restructuring, the Company met or exceeded each of its forecasts and generated cash profits of over $20 million. After the company had been stabilized, I led a multinational debt restructuring of over $1 billion in secured and unsecured debt, and negotiated the sale of the company to Mexico’s telecommunications giant, Telefonos de Mexico SA at a multiple of ten-time prior year EBITDA.

As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer, I led the company in implementing new financial controls while also driving a new strategic initiative designed to refocus the company’s operations on key geographic areas with a customer centric focus. These changes returned the company to a cash positive basis in less than one year.
