About Lawrence Beamen
My journey has been an incredible one—from dreamer to achiever. After oscillating between the music industry and a psychology practice for several years, I shifted my attention towards a modern textile company I started, named Fitted. At Fitted I dedicate my time to designing and supplying premium textiles to hotels, gyms and homes.Over the years, I've been able to travel around the world—but have often been underwhelmed with the towels and bedding. I saw an opportunity for better products, made with premium materials, to create better experiences. For generations, my family in Mississippi was involved in the cotton industry, and I found myself drawn to designing beautiful, luxurious textiles that honor this heritage and build upon it. I patent all of my designs and create products that are truly unique. I now limit my musical performances to nonprofits, social justice causes, and special events.
