Lawrence is the HRBP for the European Green Sky Directorate (EGSD) in EUROCONTROL. He joins the EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre in 2005 (EEC now EIH for EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub) as Head of the Centre of Expertise covering the support functions (Finance, Communication, HR, Building & Facilities). In 2007 Lawrence enrolls in the Strategy & Business planning Unit of the Centre. He is designated Senior Business Partner HR in 2011, covering R&D and Strategic Departments which manage EUROCONTROL contribution to the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) Programme and strategic relations with aviation bodies. He is also designated representative of the central administration on the EIH site close to Paris.Lawrence is recruited in 1997 by EUROCONTROL as deputy Head of Recruitment in the Human Resources Directorate and becomes Head of Recruitment in 2002.Lawrence starts his career in 1991 as consultant in ergonomics and human engineering working mainly in the domain of electric power plants. In 1994 he joins the banking sector where he gets involved with recruitment and selection of young talents. Lawrence holds a Master degree in Psychology from the University of Brussels, Belgium, with a particular focus on industrial and commercial psychology. In addition, he holds a Bachelor degree in Business Informatics. He achieved the one year management induction programme of the Bank of Brussels Lambert, now ING. He also took part to the Corporate Management Training Programme of EUROCONTROL. He completed the "Managing Human Resources" course held in MCE Europe. And he completed the "Strategy Essentials" course held in HENLEY. He also completed the "Negotiation Dynamics" executive education at INSEAD.
