    Originally commencing as the National Sales Manager ePackaging, I was promoted as Local Product Group Manager I established the Modular Systems (EHouse) business within ABB, as a pull through vehicle for ABB product packages and third party equipment. Modular Systems now accounts for a large percentage of ABB's revenue.Within this role I set and drive local strategy which reflects global strategies, marketplaces and customer complexities. This includes strategic management across all business units and strategies, including full P&L ownership and responsibility for the Business. Examining market segments, I identified sound product offers and key customer projects where sales growth opportunities existed to secure winning multimillion dollar contracts. This included working with clients from project conception to tender, to identify and mitigate project risks and develop relationship collateral. Implementing growth strategies within the export market focused on product bundling, I delivered a reduced risk profile for customers. In addition this strategy consolidated sales with one project management, set of terms and conditions, and client agreement. Similarly I examined ABB global products not yet released in Australia to identify import opportunities, particularly in industrial markets. This included adapting these products to meet Australian standards. Examining a small unprofitable business within ABB, I implemented a full restructure to bring operations in line with market demands and ABB’s strategic business plan. This included reducing infrastructure and overhead recovery costs, and capitalising on synergies across purchasing, cost control and sales force.
