Originally from Sydney, I began my professional aviation career in 2004 working as a Flight Instructor at Bankstown Airport. However, like many aviators my aspiration was to fly for an airline.Similar to many pilots commencing work in the aviation industry, I spent several years travelling around Australia in pursuit of work (this hardship was compounded by also having to pursue this work during the Global Financial Crisis). During this time I pursued as many flight hours as I could, but also gained some valuable life experience along the way. At the time, and unbeknownst to me, I was gradually preparing for an alternate and even more rewarding path.During these years of travel and relocation, I sought opportunity to grow, and add to my professional acumen. In 2009 I began a Masters in Science and Technology in Aviation (MScTech(Aviation)) via correspondence with the UNSW and was later that year fortunate enough obtain a position as Chief Pilot (CP) and Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) for a Moorabbin Airport based company that operated Piper Chieftains and Cessna Caravans; a position which served as a significant catalyst for what followed for me professionally. I also obtained my Airline Transport Pilot License and received ATO approval to conduct GFPT and PPL tests.In January 2013 I was given the opportunity to pursue a long-term career goal; I left the Moorabbin Airport based company to accept a job at an airline, however the dream wasn't as satisfying to me in reality. Due to personal reasons at the time, and after some soul-searching I began to redefine my career aspirations, and life goals. As such, in December 2013 I resigned from the airline that I was working for and went in pursuit of more life-appropriate goals for where I found myself.Later that year, I was elated to graduate from UNSW with my MScTech (Aviation) that year.In recent years, many of my goals have come to fruition; finding myself now a father of two children. In March 2017, I made the exciting move to begin working for myself, privileged to conduct work that I thoroughly enjoy.I conduct flight tests in the state of Victoria, and am very happy to travel nationally as required.I can conduct RPL, PPL, MEA, CPL, IR and IPC flight tests. I absolutely love what I do; and am of the firm belief that I have an outstanding work ethic.
