I worked in the trucking industry as a driver, trainer, and manager for more than 25 years. I drove more than a million miles throughout the Continental United States of America. I had the opportunity to visit all of the lower 48 states except North and South Dakota, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. I trained drivers to navigate the harshest weather conditions imaginable through torrential rains, blizzards, on ice packed roads, and the more dangerous mixture of oil and water known as black ice. I managed small fleet companies of 15 to 25 drivers dispatching, and tracking them on a daily basis unless an emergency occurred which required direct immediate attention. Although I enjoyed my career in the trucking industry, I had advanced as far as I could without a degree, so I tried the food services industry for about 6 years then returned to college to upgrade my education. Now that I have upgraded my education earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications/ Minor Public Relations (2015), and my MBA-Master's in Business Administration (2018), I am Consulting Small-Business start-ups, operations, and management.
