It’s competitive and demanding, and only the most effective thrive. I help hospitality businesses to solve the three of their biggest problems: 1. Joining it all together – hospitality businesses have traditionally used multiple different systems, but the problem is that these technologies simply don’t talk sensibly to each other. Businesses try to join disparate systems together and end up with Frankenstein. I introduce them to the concept of an IT platform - one that incorporates Apps, QR ordering, aggregator management, POS, online ordering, kiosks, loyalty, kitchen management, purchasing and reporting. 2. Menu Information Management (MIM) – menus involve multiple pieces of information –item name, description, price, calories/kJ, images, available hours, modifiers, ingredients – often held in 12+ different places. I show businesses how to use Redcat’s MIM to manage all menu information from one place, making it faster, more efficient and error-free to manage. 3. Data availability – operational and strategic decisions need accurate and timely data, but accessing it quickly and easily is a challenge. Redcat provides real-time data across the entire business – sales, loyalty, aggregator data, kitchen efficiency and process data – supporting sound decisions that support growth. My background is consulting-led, complex sales. This gives me the ability to see the bigger picture to join what a business wants to achieve with what Redcat offers, using industry best practice. I do this by managing a team of state sales managers who work with new clients, and via our strategic accounts manager, a team who keep our existing clients happy, engaged and getting the best value from their investment in Redcat. With my marketing hat on, it’s my job to be the eyes and ears on the ground, and understand key hospitality market trends and requirements to feed through to our development team.I believe that the best results come from collaboration, so I make it my job to bring together a cohort of customers and partners who can learn from each other and work together on industry challenges. Most of our clients don’t see themselves as direct competitors, but as ‘co-operative competitors’, and they really value being part of the Redcat community and being able to share problems and successes with their peers.
