As Student Government President I take the lead in organizing and planning various events for the student body as well continued communication with the various University Administrators on a weekly basis. I oversee a dedicated team of student leaders such as the executive board members including the Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief of Staff. Amongst the Executive Board members, there are three other groups that are overseen. These groups include; College Caucus Chairs (a team of 8 student leaders) as well as the Student Body Senators (a team of 50+ members) and the Five Departments (lead by a total of 12 Co-Directors). - University Affairs-Public Relations- External Affairs - Student Affairs - Rules and RegulationsLastly, as President, I sit on various committees to continue the transparency and communication from the university to the students.

In this fellowship, I learned several techniques in relations to digital marketing via social media. My experience included: - researching and implementation of social media and digital marketing techniques across infinity brands - Creation of the social media content strategy and calendar- Team Collaboration via Slack- Team Collaboration via Google Office Suite- Sourced Influencers for Campaigns- Created Slide Decks for Data Tracking and Analysis- Community engagement and management of the Instagram and Twitter social channels

The Co-Executive Director position leads the team for the Center for Diversity & Intercultural Affairs Department at Sam Houston State University. This is a student led department organization in which celebrates cultural & ethnic differences. We host an annual Diversity Leadership Conference for students, staff, faculty & schools across the states.

- Led the energizer session for the Annual Diversity Leadership Conference - Created a blindspot exhibit / visual display of a Diverse topic for the Annual Diversity Leadership Conference. - Held Monthly events for the student body to inform them in regards to the diverse topics of each month. - Recruited and trained students to become Diversity Council Ambassadors for the University. - Held bi-weekly meetings to track the progress of the ambassador's assigned task- Developed marketing material to recruit students to diversity events held on campus
