Hello! I have been an RD for 4 years now. Over this time, I have been given the opportunity to fine tune my communication skills along with providing specialized care for all my patients, residents and clients. What I thoroughly enjoy about this role is being able to empathize with people and provide them with individualized care that suits their specific needs. I spent over a year working at Veritas Collaborative, which is a pediatric hospital that specializes in treating those with eating disorders. During my time at Veritas, I was challenged with a variety of different cases involving patients from many diverse backgrounds. No two patients were ever the same, which made me get creative with my problem-solving skills and treatment approach. My passion within dietetics lies with counseling individuals with eating disorders, disordered eating or those who are wanting to build a healthier relationship with food and their body.
