I'm Layla King, a Web Designer/Developer entering my 4th year of studying Web development and design. During this time, I’ve grown proficient in HTML and CSS. Furthermore, I’m experienced in Microsoft and Adobe products. These include but aren’t limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.I have knowledge of marketing as well. I was recently given the chance to showcase this at PFEW (Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week) in 2023. I was in charge of creating my team’s company website. We ended up winning the Advertisement competition, along with winning the title of top company. The judges said that my website was, “by far, the best of the 21 companies”. It was shown again in 2024 when my team and I placed #1 in the state of PA for FBLA Web Design and placed #10 in the nation at the national conference in June & July. I am reliable, hardworking, and ambitious. I would say one of my biggest strengths is my ability to adapt. If something happens that requires change, I’m not the type to complain about it. Instead, I’ll just change my approach and get it done. I also try to be open minded. I like to see and understand the point of views of others. This is beneficial in the work field because it contributes to being a good team player. I strive to be a leader who you know can get the job done, and I’m confident that I can provide that to any team.I’m currently the Vice President of SkillsUSA, which is a club that focuses on developing workplace skills. As a result, I have the opportunity to further develop my leadership and skills through this organization. This will help me grow as a leader, learn new skills, and achieve my goals. I’m also the Co-President of the National Honor Society which helps show my commitment to my academics.
