I am a passionate legal and policy advocate with a focus on criminal justice reform, human rights, and public policy. As a dedicated student at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Legal Studies and Sociology and minoring in Public Policy, and Global Poverty and Practice, I am committed to driving meaningful change in the realm of criminal justice and human rights. My journey in advocacy began with a deep-rooted passion for social justice, which has guided my academic and professional endeavors. At the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, I have engaged in legislative research, policy analysis, and advocacy efforts to shift resources away from punitive systems towards community-based solutions. This role has honed my skills in policy writing and legislative strategy.My key skills include legislative research, policy writing, project management, public speaking, and advocacy. I aspire to leverage my academic background and hands-on experience to advocate for systemic reforms in criminal justice and human rights, particularly in policy development and legal advocacy that promote equity and justice for marginalized communities. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am an active member of Delta Delta Delta Panhellenic Sorority, Berkeley Hillel, and Greeks Against Sexual Assault. I enjoy practicing yoga, which helps me maintain balance and mindfulness in my busy life.
