I am a graduate student at the University of British Columbia’s Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs program. I am eager to continue developing skills regarding activism for equity-seeking individuals targeted by discriminatory policies within healthcare, judicial systems, and academic institutions. I am a recent graduate of the Queen’s University Class of 2023, holding an Honours Bachelor of Science while majoring in Life Sciences. During this time, I developed a passion for human rights and work by attempting to create equitable and sustainable changes within my various communities. During my final year of undergraduate studies, Queen's University awarded me the Equity, Diversity, Inclusivity & Indigeneity Impact Award. I have excellent language (fluent French and conversational Arabic), management, leadership, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. I am an empathetic, compassionate and kind individual who thrives in settings with other like-minded individuals.
