My name is Layla Thomas and I am currently a student at the University of South Florida. I am pursuing a degree in Accounting as well as a minor in Spanish. Through my education at USF, I hope to gain comprehensive knowledge about business and the skills to become an effective accountant and leader.I am someone who can work well both on a team as well as individually. I am also a very motivated and attentive worker. Further, I am familiar with working with computers and can learn information systems fairly quickly. At my time at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, I have been able to quickly become familiar with their information and POS systems which allow me to work very efficiently and assist my coworkers when needed. Additionally, I hold a Microsoft Office Specialist certification, where I am certified in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Taking classes in the Muma College of Business has also allowed me to expand upon my Microsoft skills, primarily with Excel.
