All things software. Shipped the initial patient and physician ordering experience with a small team of developers and designers.

Lead and managed the team that developed the core API services that powered Path's iOS, Android, and web clients. Core technologies included Python, Tornado, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Redis, Kestrel, Memcached, and Ruby on Rails. Worked as a key contributor in the relaunch and product development of Path 2, scaling our backend from <10 req/s to >1000s req/s.

Developed and supported core features and internal tools for SideReel.com and it's millions of users. Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Memcache, RSpec, jQuery, Cucumber, Jasmine, pair programming, and TDD.

Freelance work with both large corporations and start-ups. Ruby on Rails, Merb, MySQL, jQuery, and RSpec.

Co-founded a social network that focused on mobile photo and video sharing. Other features included sharing media consumption (music and books), trip logging, and place check-ins. Successfully raised angel funding against user traction and developed all aspects of the underlying software. Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Solr.

Developed features for the ProStores e-commerce product. Java, MySQL, SQL Server.

Developed several backend applications to help facilitate billing, image hosting, and searching for customers. Developed a "from scratch" full-text database search engine that powered the forum search for larger customers which indexed 50+ million documents (significant for its time).
