Management Responsibilities:§ Actively involved with low-income adults in the acquisition of employment, including developing job contacts, conducting a job search and direct involvement with government case managers. These duties include, but are not limited to, skill assessments, helping clients develop resume, monitoring application submissions and providing on-site supervision during work experience activities. § Actively involved with first-time juvenile offenders in the acquisition of work related skills, including guidance counseling and direct involvement with youth referred by Court Services for community services. These duties include, but are not limited to, personal skill assessment, helping youth develop employment skills, develop leadership habits and providing on-site supervision.Day to Day Activities: § Coordinating the day-to-day operation of a non-profit agency including active participation in community activities§ Preparing grant proposals, business plans or marketing studies§ Public speaking in city, county, and state forums § Public policy research, analysis and advocacy§ Negotiating agreements with government agencies to provide support services for low-income persons in the area of employment & training, entrepreneurship, and delinquency prevention
