After graduating from The University of Central Florida in May 2010 with a Masters of Arts in Instructional Technology, I chose to stay at home. Have volunteered extensively in the public school system and more recently for a civic organization once I obtained citizenship in 2015.

Worked part-time as an intern course writer. Worked on Project WET (water education for teachers) and other professional development courses for teacher preparation. Also participated in course summit meetings and creating online modules for a major online university.Assisted owners of company with textbook revision and edited tear sheets for their publisher. Did research, wrote updated material, and searched for new images used in the textbook revision.

Curriculum DeveloperWas promoted from within company to hold this position. Designed, developed, and delivered technical subject matter concerning terminal automation software and hardware. Trained and accommodated executives and non-executives from global businesses such as Shell, Sunoco, Exxon-Mobil, and BP. Lead direction of other subject matter trainers. Designed and maintained an internal training website, and arranged internal training lessons that I filmed, edited, posted for all employees. Performed new hire training (product information and also customer service skills) and conducted need assessment surveys for ongoing technical training.Was also appointed the Lead Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 certification. Held meetings, provide information to other 6 auditors, present results to executive management, and create Corrective Action Requests based on results. Involved in identifying the company’s Standard Operating Procedures and general business processes.
3/2001 – 1/2004 Toptech Systems, Inc 
 Technical Writer IISenior technical writer, responsible for managing one other tech writer, and documenting a complex software application. Job responsibilities included writing white papers and other technical specifications, updating User Manuals, issuing Patch Notes, working with web authoring tools and online Help, presenting in front of large and small groups, preparing lessons and teaching them, and cost estimating custom User docs.

Teaching, designing, and developing curriculum for Entrepreneurial course, Technical Writing course, Business Communication courses, and Computer Fundamental course. Responsible for delivering courses and also grading students, up to 250 students a year.
