As time allows I do private consulting for small business owners. Working in and around sales, marketing, and events I love when opportunities come up to give back in this way.Ex. Last December I worked with an actor and non-profit to put on a 2 day Scrooge Show.Ex. Helped small businesses with their social media presence and marketing.Ex. Friend starting a Doula business helped with Website, Branding Websites, Social Media, etc. Ex. Helped an Entrepreneur figure out how to delete FB pages, create a group, create events, etc.

I served as the Head Cross Country and Track coach for the men and women for two respective seasons. I also coached Junior high girls soccer. Being a smaller school made this feasible, but a wonderful experience with some great successes!

My job is to stay on top of the latest and greatest in specialty running retail. West Stride is more than a shoe store it is a community of runners. Sales on the floor covers gait analysis, nutrition, apparel, and expertise to runners in all forms of the fit process to running advise in general. My job also entails leading a group run on Wednesday evenings and coaching beginner/intermediate programs such as Stride Strong out of the store setting. As an ambassador I also am part of the West Stride running club and advocate the store in local road races I compete in.

I served as the Assistant Cross Country Coach for two years. The year I took the job was the first year football began for GSU. As Assistant coach I worked with the head coach on all aspects of team management, planning, recruitment, travel, and daily practice routine and maintenance. I helped the program make big strides in one year.

I served as Assistant Cross Country and Track coach. I did a majority of the distance recruiting and helped with all aspects of practice, planning, daily regimen, travel, we also hosted SEC Cross Country Championships that year which I was heavily involved in mapping the course.

My Alma Mater! I served as Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach. This job really set the stage for my career in coaching. Although I coached at my Alma Mater, I worked under a new head coach and Samford changed conferences this year. I did all of the female distance recruiting. Nothing like diving into a coaching career and getting second my first year in the SoCon!
