My interests and experience are in economic/community development, grassroots (liberative) empowerment methodologies, social justice, cultural exploration, and organizational analysis/change, especially as each of these relate to practical, implemented operations and community involvement. The primary organizational change paradigm and strategic analysis tool I utilize is the Burke-Litwin Performance and Change Model.Since 2008, I have been a university lecturer/professor focused on development theory and practice (covering topics in philosophy, anthropology, business, religious studies, and theology.)In my earlier capacity as a development practitioner, I occupied many on-site roles: modifier and adapter of internal operations financial program and office system for a grassroots Indonesian NGO; office internal management program trainer for operational units and sub-units; development consultant and general oversight director for local NGO operations, principal microfinance consultant; consultant and overseer of NGO internal financial and management control systems; microfinance program designer and the primary author of a microfinance program business plan; designer of financial sensitivity and feasibility analysis instruments; creator of personnel and employee training programs (as well as the primary instructor of those program); co-translator/reviser of OEF’s adult-education small business training guide for client training workshops; microfinance internal financial and management control systems designer; intermediary between primary funding source(s) and local NGOs; technical and design philosophy consultant for microfinance board and program director.Thus, my expertise lies in the combination of academic and practically applied empowerment approaches.Specialties:• Community organization and empowerment• Organizational change and design• Holistic ESG impact investment design• Participatory development theory• Grassroots economic & community development practice• Microfinance theory and practice• Interfaith development & empowerment work• Interface of non-sectarian development practice and embraced religious conviction
