Was assigned a semester-long senior project in teams, where we had to create and marketing a product while partnering with a local charity in order to raise funds to then donate to that said charity. Our group had decided to collaborate with SPCA Tompkins County, and work with local custom clothing brand "Holy-Shirt" to receive product to fundraise with. I lead team members in developing a wristband to sell that says "SPCA Tompkins County" in order to raise money. Our group had decided to collaborate with SPCA Tompkins County, and work with local custom clothing brand "Holy-Shirt" to receive product to fundraise with. I lead team members in developing a wristband to sell that says "SPCA Tompkins County" in order to raise money. The SPCA we worked with was kind enough to donate a sweatshirt branded by them for us to raffle off when selling the wristbands we had made. Our efforts resulted in a $250 donation to the local SPCA after only 2 weeks of tabling at various Ithaca College "hot spots". Show less
