Restaurant Associates Group is a premium catering and concierge services provider of Compass Group on the journey to Net Zero by 2025. Split across five different businesses and with a turnover of ca. £300m, it counts banks, PE funds, legal firms and tech giants as their clients.Responsibilities included:- Portfolio management, including commercial contract renegotiation, improving profitability margin by 1%- M&A including acquisition, SPA negotiations and post-merger integration of £10m business- Business Casing (including IC presentation) of new deals and projects including Net Zero initiatives- Day to day management of the financial function (team of 45 FTEs), including forecasting, budgeting and public company reporting across 5 businesses- Established a data & analytics functionality to drive reporting efficiency and better insights

Before the acquisition by EatFirst (Rocket Internet), Feedr was a B2B food delivery marketplace live in four markets across UK&I and owned by Compass Group UK&I with sustainable food sourcing and 100% emission-free delivery at its heart.- Lead teams across Operations, Customer Service, Vendor Partnership, Marketing and Finance- Grew topline 6x in under 10 months, while maintaining industry-leading service including OT/ER delivery (>95%) and customer satisfaction score (90%)- Reached operational profitability and drove significant product and operational improvements through automation and self-serve models- Lead the divestment from Compass Group to EatFirst- Created a nurturing team culture, which was supported by our certification as a Great Place to Work in Tech- Started in the business as Head of International Expansion & launched Feedr in three new markets in just 10 months, leading to promotion to COO

SUITCASE Magazine and SUITCASE Creative Studio from part of SUITCASE Group. Combining a digital media platform with an agency studio, SUITCASE is well known for its quality of content and particular point of view, which attracted a very niche audience of HNW millennials. As COO, I was responsible for sales, marketing, finance and legal with a particular focus on developing a monetisation strategy for the business. During my time, among other things, we were able to: - grow revenues and streamline operations to achieve a 62% reduction in losses- secure £1.5m of funding in 2 investment rounds- expand revenue generation from advertising and subscriptions to e-commerce and travel booking commissions

Initially joining SUITCASE as Commercial Director, I was able to expand our advertising client base to include some of the biggest and most selective brands in the luxury space, such as Krug, American Express Platinum Card, Volvo, etc. I also secured the biggest deal in the history of the business, contributing to the twofold growth of advertising revenue. Among other things, I lead a pricing project of the subscription revenue stream that moved the product into positive unit economics.
