I currently work for SonicWall Inc as an HR Operations Manager overseeing HR Ops, onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, reporting, attrition, and managing a small team of two employees. I have been able to grow as a leader by making decisions to improve our processes. I am always thinking ahead for downstream impact on processes or procedures. I have strong problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills that have helped me succeed in this role. I previously was an HR Generalist performing a variety of tasks including aspects of benefits administration, new hire orientation, immigration, I9 management, HRIS data management, background screening management, policy and procedure development, and various audits. I have been able to utilize my task management, prioritization, and organizational skills while in this role, while also further developing my public speaking and employee relationship skills. I graduated in April 2018 from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management in the business management program with an emphasis in organizational behavior and human resources. Before coming to BYU to get my bachelor's degree, I worked full time for almost four years, with two of those years at Zions Bancorporation as a Subpoena Specialist. I was able to excel in that role by using my organizational, time management, task management, and prioritization skills. I gained valuable written and verbal communication skills by corresponding with others inside and outside of my organization. At Zions Bancorp, I also gained valuable connections with upper management because of my involvement and participation in various presentations by my department to upper management. While working full time those four years, I went to Salt Lake Community College part time and graduated with high honors with a degree in general studies in December 2014.
