On the 36 million-dollar FBI SMIS project, performed Business Process Redesign for the FBI’s personnel security system. Became a recognized SME in the personnel investigations and clearance processing processes. Led a high visibility system development effort to create an interim clearance processing system in MS Access while assisting in the design of a more robust web-based solution. She managed a team of system developers, data migration specialists, and testers while working within tight deadlines and navigating political issues to ensure all project deliverables and system installations were up to standard and successful. Was responsible for developer onboarding and maintaining the system infrastructure. Acted as Technical Lead on design, development, and deployment of a web-based emergency preparedness/action item tracking and reporting system. This was a .NET web solution with a SQL Server 2000 database that tracked critical action item data, enabling remote access and dynamic report generation. She originally developed a prototype in MS Access, which upon presentation to the client, resulted in additional work and the development of the web based system.Played several roles at the National Cyber Security Division of the Department of Homeland Security including gathering requirements, and composing the recommended processes and procedures for the Cyber Interagency Incident Management Group (Cyber IIMG). She also designed, developed, implemented, and tested the US-CERT Human Resources system to track and report employee, contractor, and applicant information, automating many fundamental HR processes.
