My work experience of 50 years, while only being 63 (2020), is extensive, varied and the result of my enjoying solving problems, accomplishing things, and working with people – all kinds of people. Started painting houses at 13 and was a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch by 24. My entrepreneurial mindset has compelled me to not let having not done something before, stop me from doing it NOW. Even though many of my classmates, in honors programs, have gone on to be doctors, lawyers and Indian chiefs, I have enjoyed my life in the smaller town rural setting that I sought out. I have been a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker since 1985, although I use it sparingly these days. I have held various professional designations and licenses, such as CFP, CLU, ChFC, RIA, OSJ, series 7, 8, 65 and more. I have run a small mutual fund for 5 years, while directly managing accounts for over 15 years. I have developed and constructed a series of radiotherapy Cancer Centers throughout central Texas (5) and developed several office parks and managed a portfolio of investor owned properties contained within. In 2017, I became involved as the co-host of The Wild West Crypto Show. Since then, I have been involved, as a Partner, in creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem, which can be found at flixxmedia.com. I am told that one of my strongest strengths is taking complicated and technical information and being able to explain it as a simple actionable analysis that most people can follow and embrace. I am married with two grown daughters.
