Direct the implementation of an internal communication strategy for the College.Supervise Event Coordinator, Website Coordinator, Public Relations Coordinator. Establish reporting lines and coordinate work flow for A&S Advancement team. Develop and oversee student internship program; supervise contract workers and casual temp workers as needed. Direct the implementation of external communications and public relations strategy. Oversee A&S website, print materials, advertising, event promotion, news, enewsletters, electronic surveys and social media. Liaison with 3rd party vendors and university offices to assure compliance with state and university rules and regulations.Develop goals and objectives showing resource requirements and indicators for measuring success; track and report progress to the Dean; review the plan annually and revise at least as often as the College's strategic plan is revised.Advise departmental staff and faculty regarding events as well as public relations and marketing strategies. Liaison with 3rd party vendors and university offices to assure compliance with state and university rules and regulationsRepresent the A&S Dean's Office in Communication and PR-related matters to and collaborate wherever possible with the following: A&S Advising, A&S departments, programs, centers and institutes; university-wide offices including but not limited to Admissions, the Alumni Office, Career Services, Community Engagement, Communication and Marketing, Development, Advancement Services, Student Services Undergraduate Affairs and other academic units on campus.Direct events hosted by the Dean or sponsored by the College. Includes reviewing and monitoring event budgets and plans and supervising the work of various staff and volunteers who assist with events. Will provide onsite support as needed Carry out special projects and provide administrative support for the Dean.
