About Laura Broyles

Sometimes a tragedy can strike a family and change the very fiber of your being. The day that changed my life was September 28th, 2014. I lost my nephew to an overdose. The circumstances of his passing is a story in itself. I decided that day that I could not sit back and do nothing. Each day is committed to supporting my family's non-profit organization, Hope United. We are bringing education, support, and recovery efforts to Northeast Ohio. I am committed to fighting the stigma that is keeping people silent about the disease of addiction and helping to education our communities about our country's opioid epidemic. On a lighter note, I am the co-owner of Tiaras and Treasures, a children's theme party business that services all of Northeast Ohio. I have loved hosting parties for children for the last 12 years. We are a mobile party company that provides hosted spa and tea parties. We provide princess and superhero characters for birthday parties, corporate and community events, and schools. Seeing the look on the children's faces when they meet their favorite character is enough to know why I do what I do.Specialties: non-profit fundraising, non-profit education, community outreach, event planning

    I am honored to be a part of an amazing group of individuals coming together for the newly established non-profit organization, Hope United. We are on a mission to break the stigma of addiction, to educate our communities about the disease of addiction and the opioid epidemic that is devastating families, to support families and to build a Relapse Prevention Wellness Center called Tyler's Redemption Place within a recovery in Summit County. After losing my nephew Tyler in September of 2014 to an overdose while he was on a 3-week waiting list for help, I will do all that I can to make a difference so that no other family has to experience such a devastating loss....Tyler, Now We Fight For You.
