I am a purpose-driven leader committed to building and scaling sustainable businesses committed to reducing/removing carbon emissions. With 20+ years in climate tech, my experience ranges from the founding teams of startups to executive roles at Fortune Global 100 companies within the energy transition space. Currently, I am devoted to developing and advocating for policies which will transform the carbon management sector. Gigaton-scale carbon mitigation and removal is essential to reverse Earth’s urgent climate challenge. Public policy, regulation, funding and procurement can unlock barriers and jumpstart this market. I have developed relationships with policymakers, elected officials and agencies to accelerate this critical market development component. My mindset is entrepreneurial and I have a track record of developing and executing strategies to scale business models, build strong relationships, manage teams, and collaborate to develop solutions to solve complex problems. I am also a passionate advocacy leader for E2 - a national, bipartisan group of business leaders and founders who advocate for policies that are good for the economy and good for the planet. My expertise includes: policy, market development, business development, strategy, and finance. I have leveraged these strengths into scaling and executing strategies within multiple climatetech companies with transformational technologies.I am most proud of my personal productions: my two daughters. They inspire my passion for sustainability and are a constant reminder of the urgency we face in addressing climate change. Living near the ocean, we are grateful to be able to spontaneously hit the beach in the a.m. and the snow trails in the afternoon. I also am an avid yoga practitioner, meditator, scuba diver, biohacker and old-school (print) book reader.

Vice President Government AffairsBlue Planet Systems Mar 2021 - PresentLos Gatos, California, UsBlue Planet technology combines waste carbon dioxide with calcium sourced from waste to manufacture synthetic limestone aggregate. Our process can use dilute CO2 from any source, at any concentration, and turn it into valuable building materials to enable carbon capture at a profit. Each tonne of our aggregate permanently mineralizes 440 kg of CO2, preventing it from ever leaking or accumulating in the atmosphere. Blue Planet aggregate is so carbon negative, that it offsets all the emissions from the cement in the concrete, making the mix carbon negative. Blue Planet's mission is to mineralize billions of tons of CO2 per year in the built environment. -
